FMS313 Snowflake Blessings

When I saw this sketch, I envisioned snowflakes. Since I wanted my
die cut snowflakes white, I used Soft Sky for a background and stamped
in that same color for the snowflakes in the Colorful Season set.
I used the dies from Seasonal Layers with thick Whisper White for my cut snowflakes.
I decided to use Night of Navy and a sentiment from the same stamp set
in the center.  Some rhinestones for bling finished it off.
I hope you can play along over at
for this fun sketch.
Have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by!

FabFri125 Merry Christmas Wishes

Great sketch over at
I turned it and layered the plaid from Christmas Around the World DSP
and added the thin 1/8" Real Red ribbon to make the four "boxes".
I stamped the deer from Santa's Sleigh a few weeks ago and colored it
with the Stampin' Blends markers.  I used Crumb Cake to color the deer
with a little Ivory on the hooves and Cherry Cobbler to color the bow.
I cut them out with the matching dies from Santa's Sleigh thinlits dies.
I layered him on a Whisper White oval and a black scallop oval.
The sentiment is from the same set
stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black on Real Red.
Kind of a sharp looking card!

I then stamped the lovely thinking of you sentiment
from the matching set called Colorful Seasons in Soft Sky.

'Tis The Season

I really wanted to use this set for this sentiment!
It is a two step with the words and the detailed inside.
I stamped the first in Memento Tuxedo Black and the inside sentiment
in Cherry Cobbler. I stamped the deer in Cherry on the Merry Music DSP
for Jingle Bells (that is the song on the sheet).
I layered it on a piece of Basic Black card stock.
I also layered a silver foil snowflake behind. Love the texture
with the Cable Knit 3D emboss folder. I layered it all on white and then a
Basic Black base.
For more bling, some silver sequins to finish this fifth card for November
card classes off!

Hope you have a amazing day and thanks for stopping by!

I just had to use purple on this fourth card for November card classes.
I grabbed Elegant Eggplant and white for card stock but did add some
silver with the 1/8' ribbon and bow plus a Wisteria Wonder snowflake.
I cut the snowflake border with the Swirly Snowflakes thinlits dies and layered
some eggplant card stock over and then more white for the sentiment
plus snowflake from Snowflake Sentiments set.
I added some more bling with a rhinestone in the middle of the snowflake.
Simple and clean card for you!

Season Like Christmas

I did a little casing from Leanne's tree card over at for my third class card.
I used the holly emboss folder with Always Artichoke for the background.
I layered it on a piece of Old Olive and a Sahara Sand base.
I then stamped on a piece of Sahara Sand and layered it on more Old Olive.
I stamped the tree in both Old Olive
and Always Artichoke and the trunk in Soft Suede.
I then stamped the snow in VersaMark ink and used the White
emboss powder to heat emboss it along with the
snow on the ground. I finished it up
with some 3/8" mini chevron ribbon in Old Olive.
A sweet sentiment inside would finish off the card.

I did another card like this a few weeks back
and thought it would be great for my second card for November card classes.

I started with cutting the oval in the Whisper White front
and then layering a piece of Pool Party colored snow print
from the Christmas Around the World DSP.
I stamped the santa/sleigh in Basic Gray as well as the sentiment and little stars.
I cut the houses from silver foil from the matching dies called

Seasonal Lantern For Christmas

I wish I could take credit for designing this cute card
with the Seasonal Lantern stamp set but
I cased right out of my Stampin' Success magazine for SU! demos.
This is the first card for November Christmas card classes.
I love the texture from the Quilt Top emboss folder with the white.
I also love the plaid from Christmas Around The World DSP.
Cute sprigs poking from the side and a little burlap ribbon for more texture
behind makes it a lovely card. One of my guest for class wants
to use the Happy Hanukkah sentiment for a friend and it will work great with
this layout.
I stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and two stepped for the colors
like crumb Cake on the lantern and Garden Green on the candle and leaves.
I did grab the bow die from Christmas Stockings thinlits dies and cut in Real Red.
All layered on a Crumb Cake base to finish up.

with the Ready For Christmas set.  I stamped the tag
with the sentiment in Real Red on a Whisper White oval.
I layered a Basic Black scallop oval behind and added some black rhinestones.
I tied the bag full of dog treats that my baby Roxy loves
with the 7/8" black and white striped ribbon and some Real Red
mini tinsel trim.  It was just calling for that cute weinner dg
to show up!
I stamped him in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored him with
Sahara Sand. I colored his sweater with Real red and Pool Party!

PP369 Christmas Cheer!

I decided I wanted to do something different
with pines for this card when I saw the challenge.
I took the little pine branch from Merry Patterns and stamped it
in Garden Green around the white card stock
but then grabbed the Lemon Lime Twist and stamped those in between
to give a shadow look and fill in. I got my colors from the
Quilted Christmas DSP after deciding the red plaid was going somewhere on the card.
I stamped the cup from Merry Cafe and the lid in Garden Greenink on Real red and
Whisper White. I used the same ink to stamp into the middle cup cozy on
Lemon Lime Twist card stock.
All was cut with the matching Coffee Cups framelits dies.
I added some leaves to the cup in Garden Green and the sentiments are stamped
in Real Red.
I like how it looked like a center piece when I placed the cup on it.

I love the colors in the inspirational photo!
I pulled out So Saffron, Bermuda Bay and Night of Navy.
I used a piece of watercolor paper to do a quick wash
of Navy and Bay for a background.
I stamped the flower from Daisy Delight with So Saffron on the same color
card stock twice and punched them out with the matching Daisy punch.
I colored a little with the light Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends marker
to shade in the center portion of the leaves.
I added a 1/2" circle of Bermuda Bay card stock to the center with a
glitter enamel dot.
I layered the water color paper onto a piece of So Saffron

TTTC022 Just For You!

I decided to go with bottom across for a cool box!
I used the 7/8" striped black and white ribbon,
Black on the bow, and the paper under the top one and I heat embossed
the tag in white on a Old Olive card stock with Merry Little Labels set.
I punched the tag out with the Everyday Label punch and tied it with
some black and white baker's twine.
For the top DSP, I used the Merry Little Christmas DSP which is
white with the black trees. I sponge rolled Old Olive ink over it to
make it green.  The bottom paper is the same DSP in another print.
The box is the cute pizza box which I left white.
I could use this dressed up box for any occasion!

on the stairs I stamped from Ready For Christmas in Basic Gray

I stamped two sentiments from the set that work together for a really cute card.
Just a little rhinestones on the garland for bling to finish it up!

Good Tidings

I made this card at WCMD 2017 in Atlanta.
It was one of the make and takes we did at
the World Card Making  Day event last month in Atlanta.
It used  Good Tidings set stamped in Archival Basic Black over the top of
a baby wipe technique.  I used three different greens-Old Olive,
Emerald Envy and Lemon Lime Twist.
I stamped the wipe in each ink and applied to the card stock.
I went a little heavy on mine but really like the effect.
When I came home, I attached it along with some of the
black vintage crochet trim. I placed some gold sequins for some bling.
Hope you are inspired...have a great week!

Merry Monday 263 Hot Chocolate!

I did not have my eye on this set but it was a gift
at the WCMD 2017 event I attended.
I really like playing with it and so when I saw the photo for
Merry Monday I decided to play some more with the
hot chocolate!  Hot Chocolate or cocoa is the
only beverage I drink hot.
I love marshmallows in it also! I thin the little tree is so
cute so I had to add it to the mug!
All the images are from the set Hug in a Mug.
I stamped them in Chocolate Chip, Garden Green or Real Red
on a Whisper White Square. I layered it on a Real Red scallop square.
I grabbed my Wooden Textures DSP and added the wood for a the background
along with a Real Red gingham print from Quilted Christmas DSP.
I added some white baker's twine to finish it off.

PP368 Blended Leaves For Fall

I just happen to sit down a few nights ago and stamped several
images I want to color with the new Stampin' Blends markers.
I stamped these leaves from Color Seasons in Memento Tuxedo Black and
colored the first in Cherry Cobbler, the second in Pumpkin Pie,
and the third in Old Olive.  I took the color lifter to the middle of each leaf
to lighten the center.
I was not sure what I would do with them or if I would use together.
Then I saw this challenge and it was a perfect fit!
I went diagonal with Fall, Dies, Gold.
I used the sentiment from Merry Cafe stamped in Pumpkin Pie
and layered on a banner of gold foil.
I added a gold metallic enamel shape for some more bling.
I wanted a background for the leaves but I did not want to water color,
and I thought the burlap background would be heavy and I wanted some color
to it so not just emboss the paper.
I grabbed my gold Encore ink pad and a baby wipe and
dabbed the in on the white paper lightly.
It did make a cool effect.
Maybe what the wind looks like when blowing...that might be a sketch!

I designed this card and made 20 of them
for a friend who was giving them to her employees with a their bonus.
I cut the thick Whisper White card stock base at 6" by 6 1/2"
and score the 6' side at 3" to make a 3" by 6 1/2" card so it would hold money.
I used the Naturally Eclectic DSP with the some Night of Navy behind.
I stamped the sentiment from All Things Thanks on white and cut it out
along with a Navy oval with the Layering Oval framelits dies.
I added some Emerald Envy leaves punched out with the useful leaf punch.

TTTC021 Petal Garden Love

Well, I had to go purple since it is my fav color!
However, I was not in the mood for butterflies so
I grabbed some DSP I knew had both Fresh Fig and
Sweet Sugarplum and designed from there.
I went for the middle row across with purple, free and sequins.
I used the large sentiment from Lots of Love stamped in
fresh Fig and cut with the Layering Oval dies.
I layered it on a piece of  Petal Garden DSP and some
Fresh Fig finely woven ribbon.  I like the bit of Calypso Coral,
it makes it fells more fall..maybe?

TTTC020 Peace, Joy, Love

I played the first column down with Peace, Metallic Thread and White.
I decided on the Musical Season set for the peace sentiment and
the Merry Music DSP for the white.  I stamped the drummer in Memento
Tuxedo Black and cut him out with the matching die.
While looking through my basket of scraps to see if I had a black circle
already cut, I saw the discarded drummer I stamped in Smoky Slate
on Smoky Slate but did not use.
I thought he needed to be a shadow for this card!
I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark on Basic Black and heat embossed
it with white emboss powder.
I thoght I had silver thread but could not find it but just as well
because I think it would not have shown up.
I used gold metallic thread behind the circle.

Image may contain: text

I thought my new Hug In A Mug stamp set would be great for the sketch challenge.
Then when I saw the inspiration photo from my

I stamped the mug in Chocolate Chip and the sentiment in Real Red.
I cut it with the Layering Circles and then layered
it with a Garden Green stitched circle.
I added some Chocolate Chip card stock and the 1/8" Real Red

I was going to do another circle when I thought about the wooden shapes
and there was the heart looking perfect for this sketch!
